Luxury Care for Dogs & Cats

From active daycare days to comfortable overnight stays and patient grooming, Paw Retreat provides care built around your pet.

Everything Your Pet Needs to Feel at Home

Paw Retreat serves Salado, Bell County, and surrounding Central Texas communities with dog boarding, cat boarding, dog daycare, and grooming. Each service is guided by the same promise to treat pets like family and communicate openly with pet parents.

Dog Boarding

A comfortable room is only the beginning. Boarding dogs receive a minimum of four playtimes each day, with activity selected according to personality and comfort. Social dogs may enjoy carefully considered group play. Quiet, selective, or nervous dogs can receive private playtime at no additional charge.

The Salado location offers five climate-controlled room styles, including private indoor-outdoor accommodations.

Dog Daycare

Daycare gives social dogs an outlet for movement, play, and connection. Our Salado program combines a climate-controlled indoor daycare room with an outdoor turf yard and seasonal splash-pad fun.

Every daycare dog must meet vaccination requirements and pass a temperament test. We use that evaluation, and continued observation, to help maintain appropriate playgroups.

Dog Grooming

Our grooming team focuses on quality, comfort, and a finished result pet parents can feel good about. We schedule fewer dogs than a high-volume salon, groom at a patient pace, and offer breaks as needed.

Most grooming guests wait in the daycare room or a private suite rather than spending the entire visit in a kennel. Holding kennels may be used when needed for safety or comfort.

Care That Adapts to Your Pet

The best experience for one pet may be completely wrong for another. That is why our team asks questions, observes behavior, and offers options.

A lively young dog may want an active playgroup and a room with a private yard.

A senior may prefer shorter periods outside and a quiet place to rest.

A nervous dog may do best in The Cottage with private play.

A confident cat may explore every level of the cattery, while a cautious cat may prefer watching from the security of a private cat condo.
